This limestone cave with its stunning giant stalactites and stalagmites, translucent draperies, calcite flows and folds is a marvel of nature and is a definite must-see for anyone interested in life. The visit is guided, lasts about an hour and a half and cameras are allowed and recommended. Tickets cost about 10 euros for adults and parking is free.

These caves are unique in their composition. It is a nice tour, also with children. The views in the different chambers are wonderful and breathtaking. We have visited a lot of caves all over the world and these are one of the most beautiful.

We visited with our 1.5 and 3 year old children. I was a little worried about how the children would be received and how they would cope with the caves and the steps. However, the children, particularly the 3 year old, loved it. The caves are stunning. The guided tour, although completely in French, was not too long that the... More

These caves were a long drive from Bassan where we were staying but worth the drive, Traveled through some great country side with some stunning views and local villages. We have 4 boys aged 9 to 11 and was not sure if they would both enjoy and be interested in these caves, but they were loved the caves and found... More

We all loved it after a recommendation to go there from locals from Montpelier. Had a guided tour and it was an amazing experience for us and the kids.

Wow! Simply incredible. A cloudy day had us searching for something to do in the area and the visitors book in our accommodation said this was not to be missed. I couldn't agree more. I went knowing little about it, which made it even more impressive I think. It's not too expensive (about £30 for a family of four, but... More

It is only half an hour or so from our holiday base. The visits are accompanied and leave every half hour or so. Tickets cost e10.80 for adults and e6.80... More

Thease are great caves to go into during hot summer time as it is fresh. The cave rooms and essentially the "cathedral" which is about 50 meter high is amazing and breathtaking. Path is entirely secured for visits. the entrance can lend baby seats that adults can carry on their shoulders. It can be a bit too long for young... More

Third visit for me. First time as a little girl in the 80s now with my own 5 year old. Still just as struck by this sight as the first time. Go there if you're in the area. Really nice guide this time who really made an effort for us non french speeking.
