First of all the coordinations and location on the map is totally wrong - went to the site by foot from Minturno, according to directions on Tripadvisor - and were disappointed to find absolutely nothing on the spot. You have to continue SS7, Via Appia...More

Spent a couple of hours at this site and found it very interesting .Good amphitheater and lots of ruinins,no restrictions about wandering around all in all worth the enter acne fee.

Visited yesterday 5 adults and two children, the site was almost empty, great theatre, but for me the highlight was the remains of the Appian Way adjacent to columns and a brick topped arch.

We visited on a early September morning and the four of us were the only visitors. The amphitheatre with its museum underneath were great, but the section of the Appian way with the arches and nearby buildings were even better. Possibly the best 5 euros...More

It's not the easiest place to get to if you are not driving - like us - even though it's only 5 kilometeres from Scauri where we were staying. Buses go right past the place but there doesn't appear to be a bus stop there...More
