In the factory, you can see the manual way of producing the famous Cuban cigars. It does not make a special impression :) Of course, you can purchase cigars at official prices, which is very expensive!

Definitely worth the 5CUC to understand and appreciate how to roll a cigar and all the process end to end even if it is quite weird walking around them and starring. Special mention to the quality men who answered all our questions!

It is really something to watch the skill involved in hand rolling cigars. The rolling is done in a large room by mostly women at individual work desks. It's a bit Dickensian with rows of desks in a hot room and the rollers working to...More

Really interesting to visit and see the process of how cigars are made. Make sure you ask a lot of questions as you get more out of it.

It is amazing to see how the Cuban cigars are made. So much effort had gone in to making them if you are coming to Cuba I recommend coming.

We visited here, didn't get a tour (don't know if we missed out on that?!) but it was still interesting to see. You can't take bags in so be warned!

They don't tell you but by process of elimination and the looking at the cigars sizes and distinctive "pigtail" , I'm almost positive they were rolling Trinidad Coloniales the day I was there.
