The beach itself is stunning with spotlessly clean, white sand. Play the tides right. We arrived earlier in the day when the tide was farther out, which gave the kids lots of room to play and run about. The hidden gem here is around the back of 'Fortification de la pointe du château'. There is a walkway around the back and with some adept jumping from rock to rock you can circumvent the fort back to the beach. Be aware that it does take some effort moving from rock to rock when there is no 'path'. My photos show the paths/ steps but a portion of the walk is across large rocks if you want to make it the whole way around. My 8 year old son managed this with some little help in places. Nicely located cafe (Le Trestrignel) behind the beach also. Overall an excellent beach and worth every minute with family or a good book.…
