Splendid sight. A real feast for eyes. It can be combined with talacauvery, somnathpur and few other places in a day's visit. Must see for all visiting Karnataka.

These twin falls are among the best falls in Karnataka but only if there is a good monsoon rains. It is situated around 140 km from Bangalore. You can go by your private car or a taxi & it will be a pleasant journey with green agricultural land on either side of the road. The waterfalls are created by river... More

It is nearly 2 to 3 hour drive from Bangalore. The best time of the year to visit the place will be during Monsoon. However, even in dry seasons its good to behold t.he beauty of the falls.

Nice place and had a super view. The sun was setting but they had shut down the way to the fall itself. We had to look at the falls from far away.

Both Barachukki and Gaganchukki falls are amazing water falls and are quite popular tourist destinations. Quite a few film songs have been filmed here and when in summers, the falls don't disappoint you. But watch out though, it is near impossible and extremely dangerous to go near the falls. Brilliant backdrop for photo op though.

Two magnificent waterfalls, just a few kilometres apart. We visited when the water was very less, so could not enjoy the true beauty.

It takes only 3.30 hours from Bangalore. Both falls are awesome especially especially during monsoon days.
