Nice view of cows eating grasses. We joined the fresh cheese making course. Though it was in German, we loved watching the milk changing to cheese. The food in the restaurant was also good. The play ground was also enjoyable. Will definitely go again.

It's a few years since we visited but we enjoyed it very much. Interesting to watch cheese production and nice café for lunch.

It is an amazing small town, great countryside traditional landscape, very fresh air. The cheese visit is quite good to understand how they make cheese in Emmental. The restaurant is very good, very typical Swiss food.

If you are visiting at the right time of the day but only purchase the audio guide are you able to see: The traditional production of Emmentaler AOP: 14.00 Uhr start of the production 14.40 Uhr 2nd step of production with the cheese harp 16.00 Uhr the cheese comes out of the pot or are these steps only able to be seen if you are on a tour? What is included in the: "Each Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 3.15pm starts the public tour through the showdairy". How much does it cost? Do you have to have a minimum number of people to go on the public tours? We are only a group of four people.
