We stopped by as we were at a nearby beach, beautiful lighthouse and great for pictures. Cute ice cream shop nearby (5 min walk), otherwise there's not much to do other than take in the scene and relax! We did not opt to pay for...More

A nice photo op if you are nearby, but not worth going out of your way or paying to enter. At $7.50 per adult, it is definitely overpriced for a tiny, lackluster "museum" and a nice view. Save your money and spend some time on...More

The lighthouse in Point Clark is very nice and recently renovated. We took a day trip to Point Clark and walked along the water and sat and enjoyed watching the rush of Lake Huron hitting against the rocks. There are benches to sit and relax...More

The Lighthouse has been under renovation for quite some time. It really is beautiful now that it's finished. Great spot to stop. You can even take the stairs to the top.

Enjoyed visiting this super historic lighthouse even though it was closed for a much needed renovation and restoration job. They had wrapped a large black tarp along the short lighthouse structure from top to bottom

This is perhaps the best lighthouse on the western coast of Ontario. It has recently been restored and includes a gift shop, a museum, and a tour. The climb is not difficult and is suitable for children. The views from the top is awesome. There...More

We visited on a Sunday during the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately the lighthouse was not open as we arrived later in the day well after 5:00 PM. We found a wonderful beach area, a launch area for watercraft and the attraction we wanted to see...More

Hi Yes the light does stay on. The Lighthouse is still used for navigational purposes as it warns sailors of the rock shoal.
