Plenty of parking, safe beach, ideal for the family. Southend can be manic during the summer, try East Beach.

if you want to get away from the madness of southend central then this is the place, lovely long beach with hardly anybody, shame there is not a bar or restaurant but then again maybe that's why is so quite

The beach is lovely and quiet with lots of little shells to collect and pools for the little ones to go nature hunting in.

We went to the beach via bus from outside the Premier Inn we shared at on Eastern Esplanade. Took around 30 minutes, you can get an all day family ticket for £8.00. Like I mentioned it was quieter than Southend.

Yes as previously mentioned there are communal barbeques and also a large grassy area to play games .
