Bought the father in law a drive in an Austin 7 Ruby to celebrate his 90th birthday. It brought back so many memories of a car the family had owned. We were able to squeeze in the back to share the experience. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and Alex the instructor was very kind and patient. We also bought a couple of photos as a memento of a special day.

Great fun for anybody who remembers the golden or not so golden age of the British motor industry. A good selection of cars from the 1930's onwards and helpful co drivers for test drivers around the site. Also a good exhibition covering UK cars from the 1920;s onwards.

This is the opportunity to drive a museum exhibit around an off-road circuit. The choice of cars ranges from a 1937 Austin 7 up to a 1980s Rolls Royce Silver Spirit with a whole lot in between. You can choose to drive just one car but I bought a package of 3 drives for £145. Great value for money; especially if you choose one or more of the expensive cars. Everyone will have their own favourites but I do recommend the 1963 MG Midget; it really is a whole lot of fun! Whatever you choose, not only do you get to drive the car but you are given free entry (normal price £15) to the Great British Car Museum. I would love to drive an E-type Jaguar or a Ford Escort XR3 and would be happy to contribute to a crowd funding exercise to enable the museum to acquire one.

Hi DicktheBad, Many thanks for your review and all your great comments about our Drive Dad's Car experience. The E-Type may be a bit of stretch to add to the driving fleet though!

Bought for my Dad so he could drive the Sunbeam Rapier he hankered after as a young man. He loved it! The whole team were really friendly and helpful and it was a great experience.

Good fun but had to remortgage my house to afford the photos and videos of my experience - £50 for a 20 minute drive is also a lot and doesn’t include the wallet burning cost of the photos

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. We do think our driving experiences represent good value, as they do also include entry to the Great British Car Journey worth £15. The photo and film package is optional, but does give you great footage of your drive and professional quality photos to remmebr the day. Best regards, Jason
