This is a good local experience. You get a glimpse of their daily life as they shop for meats, fish, produce and flowers. I was not too thrilled about the snakes and skinned field rats.

I saw this place as part of a river cruise. Some of it was really eye opening to see how the locals shop for clothing and things to cook and eat. We did not buy anything here, just walked around with our guide.

This market is by locals for locals. No tourist trinkets and trash. Lots of different fresh vegetables and all kinds of local meats including rats, eels and live frogs. Very interesting.

One of the more interesting markets we saw in Vietnam. Flowers, food, live fish, snakes and frogs. Large.

An interesting local market to explore, friendly merchants and residents, giant aquaculture and farm products. surrounding are Kien An Cung pagoda, Huynh Thuy Le old house, Sadec Night market... all of them make a good waking tour.

For as far as I am aware, no dog meat is traded at the Sa Dec market (or at any similar markets that I've visited). I actually haven't seen dog meat at all during my visit of the Mekong delta. They sell life fish and frogs... More

I personally would skip Cai Be. It is nothing like the Sadec market. Except it is floating. There are no tuk tuk's and I saw no cabs. You might could rent a motor bike but you' sure need to know how to use one. I don't... More
