The reef was in pretty good shape, as reefs go these days. I had great difficulty with the Eco Travel Bureau in getting a reservation ahead of time. I still don't understand how they operate. I also tried going through one of the hotels for a reservation to no avail. So, I just showed up and hoped for the best.... More

As title says it is the 2nd largest coral reef in the world after great barrier but very quiet. On the day we went only 2 other boats on the whole reef. The water is clear and warm, the island there is a real paradise wish we could have stayed overnight but it wasn't possible when we went. On way... More

Been to a number of beaches in the country, and hands down this is part of the Top 3. Unspoiled and protected - I hope every visitor of this beach remembers what makes it welcoming and help in keeping it pristine. Don't leave trash behind. Whatever artificial you bring to the island, bring it back with you, and dispose of... More

Another weekend warrior for me! Very nice place! Lot's of flora and fauna! Great sunset view from the light house! Be there around 5-630PM! No cellphone signal and electricity here! so better charge your phone or bring power bank. One of the best coral reef site I've been to. Great place for divers, snorkelers and freedivers! You can see sharks,... More

The travel going to Apo Reef is one hell of a journey but it so worth it. So far this is the most beautiful coral reef system I’ve ever seen. It is my first time to see baby sharks and green sea turtles while just snorkeling, Just imagine how it will be if you are going to dive. Make sure... More

Apo Reef was one of the most beautiful places what I have ever seen and the best dive sites I've experienced. Crystal water, beautiful corals and many, many any kinds of fishes. Sharks, turtles, barracudas, napoleons, tunas and many many more. It was fantastic.

For thrill seekers who love the beach life and marine life, this is something you shouldn't miss! Apo reef is the 2nd largest coral reef system in the world next to the Great Barrier. Diving and snorkeling activities can be fully enjoyed here--there is no shortage of corals and fishes. My friends and I even saw a gray reef shark.... More

We visited "Apo reef" last May 28 and it was beyond amazing. It was my 1st time to experienced a guided snorkeling, and water was the clearest I've seen so far in the philippine.
