I have bought a season ticket for Kelburn for the last 5 years. There is so much to do. My boy (age 7) loves the secet forest and the play barn. I go for walks there (without the boy) and you can just get away from everything. The views are stunning. Some of the special events they do are amazing... More

This is possibly one of the best nights I've ever been to! Everything about it was just perfect! The park was looking great. The staff at the bars etc ware fabulous. The music was brilliant. Such a good atmosphere with a mix of so many different people. I will 100% be back here next year without a doubt.

From our visit, it all just looked like a large park for families. The castle is set back and further up the road and we got the sense that it was a private residence and closed to the public. The parking area was chaos with all the kids, families and strollers, so we left. Also, the entrance and sign just... More

Visited the park on their Willy Wonka chocolate forest weekend. It was showery but bright between showers. We started in the play barn - before it got too busy- booking half an hour with our entrance ticket. With its climbing wall, ball pits and slides, a thoroughly decent way to escape the showers. Investigated the craft area and the animals,... More

In Glasgow for my husbands birthday weekend treat we decided to take a trip out to the countryside and felt Largs and Kelburn would be a good bet. On arrival at the estate it struck me that this was an estate which is struggling. The shop was full of cheap tat. The walks in the grounds were beautiful but were... More

Our family was up from London and we were looking for somewhere to take our granddaughter for Easter Sunday. Decided on Kelburn Castle and Country Centre...what a complete rip off. After paying £30. for a Family Ticket we found that we had either to pay for almost everything else - pony rides, soft play, the Willy Wonka feature (it was... More

My first visit to Kelburn with my family although they had been there before. Easter Monday was bound to be busy and the first stop was the Café. My daughter ordered 2 lattes and I pot of tea. No skimmed milk for my daughter and no sweeteners for me and had we known in advance, we wouldn't have placed an... More

I cannot recommend this event enough . We were allocated a late slot and the staff were as committed and enthusiastic and you would want. The muddy ground didn't spoil this wonderful day.

Visited with toddler, 7&9 year old for Willy Wonka event. Was lots of fun and kids really enjoyed. I took advice of leaving pram but wonka trail wasn't really carrier friendly. Lots of small spaces to squeeze through. Also park wasn't safe as too slippery which was a shame. Cafe was also very run down. I think this would be... More
