The light changes and you notice a patch of purple heather on a mountain your eyes missed the last time you looked, or there are or are not seals on the little offshore island. Admittedly, there aren't... More

We walked along the sand with the kids playing merrily. Despite it being pleasant and scenically beautiful I guess there were only... More

Saw some gross rubbish and pollution foam on our last visit there last week. I haven't been in a while and can't remember if it's always been so dirty but I was disappointed

Would be fantastic here when weather was good as kids enjoyed the parks and beaches. Would invest in a van if i had the time of work to use it

There is a very good cafe on the caravan site on your left just before the small roundabout, but not always open. Also a very small shop... More

I recently came across this beach on a drive round Co.Down. It was a very nice and clean beach, it was the middle of the summer and it was very busy with families.

Beautiful views over Carlingford Lough. Large sandy beach and walkway along the front. There are a couple of caravan sites here too and can be hired for holidays.
