We caught the train from Pembroke Dock to Carmarthen. The town centre is a short walk from the train station. After a coffee, shopping at Merlin's Walk Shopping Centre and St Catherine's Walk Shopping Centre. There are long established locally run shops as well as...More

It is simply a small town market. Mainly stalls for food or watch fixing, not really an attraction. It is not worth a specific visit, but if your in Carmarthen town anyway, you could pop in. Carmarthen has great high street shops outside of the...More

There is a really nice fruit and veg stand over to the left as you walk through the main entrance. Fruit there is lovely and the staff are really friendly. I go there most lunchtimes for a fruit pot. Totally recommended.

Tidy little indoor Maket hall, usual array of stalls, but get the feeling that the random markets of old had more appeal, however it is very pleasant to browse especially on a bad weather day.Can recommend the cafe for complete value, serving great coffee

The new Carmarthen market is a new build but unfortunately it's lost the old feel and smell that I experienced in the old market. You will find all the normal market stalls expected but limited choice.

The market isn't a hotel. Try again, and good luck. I hour you find somewhere. PS the shopmobility service in Carmarthen is great!
