We rented a car upon arriving at the airport in Dublin and headed to the Northern Coast. I highly recommend having your own car so that you are not on someone else's time line. That being said if you aren't use to driving on narrow...More

For the third time, traveling from Belfast area to Giants Causeway, I choose again to take the slow but amazing route, with great views. Most recommended to stop in one of the villages or towns along the route, for a nice breakfast or a cup...More

This experience can begin in either Belfast or Derry but you should bear in mind that you can't do everything. Giants Causeway, Dunluce castle, bushmills distillery, the rope bridge and dark hedges. They all take time out of your day if you do them all...More

The Giants Causeway was my favorite sight in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. The views are fabulous and breathtaking.

We visited in July and the weather was just right, cloudy with little sun and little rain. Take your time to enjoy the drive, pack some snacks as it is not easy to find cafes and shops especially after 6:00 pm.

We drove most of this road from Derry to Belfast, but not in one go. If you get the weather, the views are great. Take time out to stop and enjoy the views. Well sign-posted. The road has many lay-byes and parking places to stop....More

Hello Helen If you plan to go north from Belfast, I can mostly recommend on the Causeway Coastal Route and if you're driving and not in a rush, just take the time and make many stops along that route.
