Belfast Zoo is located in north Belfast. The zoo's 55 acre site is home to more than 1,000 animals and 150 species. The majority of our animals are in danger in their natural habitat. The zoo also carries out important conservation work and takes part in European and international breeding programmes which help to ensure the survival of many species under threat. Great day out as always, normally great views and see all animals up close. Especially love the seal enclosure and seeing the giraffes. May have some difficulties getting around if you are not fit as it is very hilly.

Really nice zoo, lots of different species of animal to see. Quite steep slopes which is fine for most people however would be challenging if pushing a wheelchair. Very nice location and good views around. Would recommend a visit.More

Had an amazing time at the zoo despite the rain. Although a lot of the animals didn't want to come out into the rain there was lots of variety of animals and a great day out

There are lots of hotels in Belfast. You can find out more from Visit Belfast's website. There are also buses which travel from city centre to the zoo regularly.
