Lovely house and lovely grounds. Well worth a visit. Lots to see in the grounds around the lakes. Nice restaurant serving gluten free and vegan options.

Went for the afternoon to see the gardens National Trust annual fee is the best value for money we have been members for 2 years and use it regularly This is one of the most beautiful gardens we have seen Fantastic landscapes a huge lake A pleasure to walk and relax here Coffee shops and even a pub As usual... The house and gardens are well worth visiting. the house is very interesting and the gardens are really spectacular.. Need to allow a whole day to get around everything.

What a wonderful, amazing landscape. Last visited 30 years ago and although I remembered it as being a lovely place to visit had forgotten just how lovely. As you walk around the lake every turn gives a real wow factor, from Flora's temple, to the pantheon, the grotto and Apollo's temple on the hill, blown away. The only downside was... More

been to this lovely park on different occasions, definatelly 1 of the loveliest gardens, shame when enquiring on the phone was told that dogs where allowed in ....not so on my arrival...

This is such a wonderful place the grounds are fantastic such a lovely place to go for a walk taking in all the variety of plants and trees and then for a chunk of history you can visit the house, there is also a nice cafe on site, definitely worth a few hours of your time

Visited in early spring this year and was stunned by the beautiful picture postcard views from all areas of the garden. A photographers dream. there is so much to see just in the gardens, the house wasn't open on the day we visited but that didn't detract from the day. We knew Stourhead is known for the grounds and gardens but we're delighted to find the house was also well worth visiting .An added bonus to two history buffs .The guides in the rooms were very friendly and informative .Dont miss the short introductory film . We then walked around the beautiful grounds . All in all a very enjoyable... More
