Lovely little village alot of small independent shops and not spoilt by lots of big stores. Only one big store. Plenty of parking if you want tohave just a wander around.

It took me a couple of hours to walk around this pretty small town, looking at the various old buildings. Parking was no problem.

Lovely place, real old village feel, full of local delis, food places, individual shops and grocers but it also includes charity shops and a co-op. Would loved to have had more time here an hour just wasn't enough!

We ate at the excellent Methuen Arms, the best gastropub in Wiltshire. The meal was very good, reasonably priced and well served. We then went for a walk through the village, which is a delight. We saw some really good shops including a lovely looking butcher. We then went towards Corsham Hall and went round the charming Saint Bartholomew's Church.... More

Good range of places to eat. Nearby Bradford on Avon also beautiful and very interesting (Train into Bath and beyond ?). Obviously great base from which to explore Bath, Malmesbury (Abbey),Cirencester... More
