Followed Chesterfield canal path all the way to staveley then headed across to rother valley country park. Nice and easy 20 mile ride there and back and surprisingly nice views along the way. Also lots of spots along the way for free parking.

Went on a cycle ride with friends and also did the boat trip. We started at The Hubb where you can have a drink and a bite to eat. I highly recommend it.

Had a lovely walk with family along the Chesterfield Canal on Bank Holiday Monday. Unfortunately by the time we got to the café it was closed. We walked up to the Lockoford inn and enjoyed drinks there before our walk back.

Dog walk along the canal and perfect place to stop for coffee and Home made cake at the end of the walk. Plenty of car parking and friendly staff in coffee shop.

It's a bit unclear to me. Is there a barge one can get a ride on? If so, how long a journey, departure times and cost?
