There are so many lovely little shops in Bakewell and a lot of them claim to have the original recipe for the Bakewell Tart. Make your own mind up and give this little shop a visit.

On a day out to Bakewell,we discovered this charming little shop selling local produce and their speciality Bakewell pudding. The pudding was delicious, as was the pork pie and lovely egg custard. The staff were very helpful and suggested some excellent Derbyshire cheeses.
