I always like going for a walk along the wye especially the Bakewell stretch. It is a very tranquil area watching the ducks.

This is such a lovely river that winds its way through the spectacular scenery. We spotted some very large trout in the shallows.

Lovely stone bridge over the river Wye. If one waits until the bridge is free from cars/lorries and people one can take a really great photograph.

we walked the Monsal trail from Ashford in the water and wandered along the river, extremely clean and tranquil, shallow in places ideal for a paddle on a hot day although fast moving water in other places.

One of the nicest river walks I've ever experienced. The day we went it was quiet and tranquil with hardly any other human beings in sight, and the weather stayed fine. Chee Dale is particularly beautiful. Well recommended.
