Winnat's Pass is so cool! What a beautiful landscape - would definitely recommend driving it (up or down) and parking and walking around it. It is such a marvel of nature - the whole area is really.

There are not many places in England that are like this. Just the drive through the gorge is brilliant. There is a car park at the bottom opposite the Speedwell Cavern. The toilets in the car park where could have done with a little maintenance...More

Wonderful scenery. Highly recommended. We did it in October, and it was still beautiful, with wonderful clouds. Stay in Casteton and highly recommend also going to Treak Cliff Cavern.

What a wonderful bit of roadway! The hill road is rather steep and with the light in the right angle, the hills are so beautiful. When you go there, drive up and down as the scenery is so different.

It is worth walking up the pass from Castleton to see the spectacular limestone gorge and to climb to the top of the hill and look across at the Derbyshire scenery.
