We went with 2 children under 4 & had a good time at the farm. Our entry was very cheap due to the Coffee Morning deal where each adult is £6 & the kids under 4 are free! This included a hot drink each for the adult (around £2.50/£3 for a latte/hot chocolate) so this made it even better value!... More

Having found a £10 family entrance deal online we decided to visit. It's a lovely little farm with a variety of animals to see. There are nice little play areas for the children and it felt well maintained. It was extremely wet on the day we visited so we were only there for 3 hours. If it was sunny we... More

I'd say this farm is suitable for pre-schoolers to children up to 10 and people with hidden disabilities and special needs, and their family members and carers. I took my grand daughter to the farm whilst her mum was at work and we both loved it. It's a small place and that was ideal for us. She's 3 and a half... More

We did not let the rain put us off, we had a great time and really enjoyed feeding the four legged animals. The feed was just £1-00 a bag which we thought was really good. The park is really clean and the animals look well looked after. I think the most disappointing part of the visit were the prices in... More

Visited Matlock Farm Park after buying a deal online (a family of four ticket for £10), and to be honest, I'm quite glad I didn't pay full price for it! Granted it wasn't the best of weather, but during half term, you do expect places like this to be a bit busier. There were few animals in the paddocks and... More

A total waste of time and money. Most animals not available to pet or see. Shop overpriced and understocked. The activities were not on yet advertised. How they have a certificate of excellence from trip advisor I don't know. NEVER AGAIN.

Visited on Sunday as they had a reptile day and the kids love reptiles. The selection of snakes and lizards was fantastic and the staff had a great knowledge of what they were talking about. Brilliantly interactive day out.

We absolutely love this place and are regular visitors , the staff are really helpful and very knowledgable of the animals that are there , the animals are really well cared for and you can handle the smaller animals at any time , there's special sessions where reptiles are on show . There's a lovely gift shop which like the... More

Nice place with plenty of space to walk and see the animals! Great for the younger end, those first experiences of animals! 3 parks for the kids to play, but don't expect more than that. Worth a visit
