I don't normally use guides when I go walking. I like to think I prefer to take a chance on what I will find. However I have recently discovered the flaw in that argument. My family and I have been visiting Dingle at least once a year for the last 21yrs. In that time I have been on many country... More

I just recently returned from a trip to Ireland and I wish I had more time to spend in Dingle. I was lucky enough to have gone on a tour with Colm and he was absolutely the best! A wealth of information, an intense love for his country, and a great sense of humor. If you spend any time in... More

A walk with Colm is to be highly recommended; having discussed plans and abilities we set out on a jaunt around the beautiful Dingle countryside that required boots and invited a camera. It was neither too long or too strenuous. Colm is remarkably knowledgeable of the area; its history, its geography and its ancient people. He is patient of questions... More

I have been drawn repeatedly to the Dingle Peninsula for many years as I cannot get enough of the rugged, remote beauty of its cliffy coast with hidden beaches, its rolling hills and especially the antiquity of the place with its many ancient artifacts created by humans inhabiting the area for up to 6000 years. Colm Banbury of Dingle Guided... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Dingle in late September 2015 and contacted Colm before our trip as we wanted to really experience the DIngle Peninsula on foot. Colm was great to communicate with, and we met him for a pint (or 5) and dinner on the night we arrived in Dingle. He is truly a "man about... More

The walk with Colm was perfect! He was informative without being overly "talky" and he was very funny. His knowledge of the area and the hidden gems along our way was very impressive. The pace was good and Colm always made sure we were comfortable. The scenery along the walk was absolutely spectacular! I can't wait to join Colm again... More

Dingle is a great place to walk around, from the town, to the shoreline with views of the dolphin, to the Dingle way, to the many other walks advertised on tourist placards and in the tourist office, give it a go, I have, you'll love it.

This was our first guided tour - and initially the children were rather reluctant. It turned out to be one of the hightlights of our holidays. Colm took us along part of the Pilgrim Route and we learned so much about the Dingle Peninsula and Ireland and Gaelic football. A marvellous walk - we would recommend it to everybody.

Hands down, the guided walk up Mount Eagle with Colm was the highlight of our trip (group of six thirty and forty somethings)! One member of our group had been corresponding with Colm for several months leading up to our trip. He tailored our hike to our preferences and we ended up going on a six hour, 8 mile hike... More

This is a day's hike guided by Kevin O'Shea, featuring stories of Finn McCool, the Skelligs, the Vikings, the Norman, the Blasket Islands and more. Kevin began speaking about FInn McCool on the very site of the Battle of Ventry and progressed to explain mythological and historical origins of things as we know them today . How people lived ,...
