Nice place to visit to see what workers experienced and how manufacturing was done. Tour was good. Did not use cafe so can't comment. The articles for sale were pretty expensive so not one in our small family group bought anything. Its touristy so be aware of that, we were able to tour just before 2 big buses arrived so... More

A well worth visit to this retail mill. It is very upmarket feel as soon as you go into the shop. The woollen goods they sell is expensive but they are very fine in quality. You only get what you pay for. I would go back again and if you like finer quality woollen clothes, blankets etc give this place... More

I love woollen mills, they are always full of creativity and something to buy with winter coming on. I got some helpful advice, warm gear and some on special. The cafe is great too with good coffee.

On a recent trip to Connemara I fancied a couple of the beautiful Foxford rugs and found just what I wanted in a shop in Leenane. The only problem was they had only one of the design I wanted and I wanted a matching pair. However, knowing we were passing the Foxford Mill on the way back to Knock airport,... More

We called in on a wet day 2 weeks ago for something to do. The mill tour is interesting but the whole experience is VERY expensive. We are retired and comfortably off but would not consider buying anything at the prices in the shop. We did have lunch in the restaurant which was very nice but badly thought out. There... More

Visited Foxford Woolen Mills on a Sunday so was unable to take the tour of the 'Mill'. The products in the gift shop were very nice and a selection designed to please everyone

We have been to the mill several times and always enjoy the visit. Unfortunately they had a problem with the AV this time around so we could not show our friends the movie which outlines the history but I am sure this rarely happens. Be sure to watch the history AV when you go and take the tour it is... More

Lovely welcome from staff here, shop has lots of interesting woollen and tourist products for sale. Restaurant excellent, good food and warm engaged staff. The assistant who served us in the shop loves her job and it shows, she made a lasting impression on us. We will definitely be going back.

On a day out lately with friends we stopped here for a little shopping. After a while browsing through the 2 floors of anything from fabrics to gifts. We headed to the cafe. The setting is great where you can see a working mill. Q services in place with menu wrote up on chalk boards. Staff were friendly. A main... More
