As a spinner I was looking forward to going to the linen mill and explore. The whole place is locked up. Looks like there used to be a coffee shop etc there, but in the middle of summer we found it closed, judging by the...More

This is off the beaten path but worth exploring. Follow the creek up to the caves, then head down to the Waters edge to see St Patrick's well and the rosary path. Doesn't take too long but a really nice spot

Very scenic and near the caves and St. Patrick's well. Unfortunately, the mill wasn't open on the day we visited.

The Abbey mill has a beautiful walkway around the mills, caves and down to St Patricks well. Great for a family day out and for walkers. A lovely cafe shop here too.

One of the many Historical attractions in Ballyshannon, it's a pleasure to see that the dedication of The Mill Wheel Trust in having both Wheel's restored to their former glory and during the summer months you can enjoy a Tea/Coffee and a snack on Sunday's

The coffee shop is open on Sunday's for the time being not sure of times.. As for the mill wheel and surrounding areas no charge and always accessible.. It is just beside the river, catsby caves and st patricks well.
