Had the pleasure of playing this fabulous golf course on a super day where the sun shone and wind didn’t blow (very rare for a links course!!)
Course was in great condition with greens been fast and true.
Compliments to the catering staff for breakfast...More

Go and see, play and love it.
Just a must if you like Links courses.
Personally better than Royal County Down and K Club.
Even if it was very dry you still had the feeling that this is the beginning of golf. Rough, brutal and...More

Weather has dried out the course but still playable. Lots of run. Hit a seven iron 195 yards. Many drives extra 30 yards. Has the narrowest fairway at 12 yards. No par 3 until number 9. Worth taking a caddy.
No real food available. Need...More

I organized a golf trip with 11 friends from Connecticut and playing The Island GC was the golfing highlight of the trip for most of the group. The course is an epic layout and truly memorable links experience. The caddies though really made the day...More
Must play course. Great links golf- Great local caddies. Lots of blind shots and places you don't want to be surrounding many tucked away greens. One Fairway is 20 yards long tee to green and sits on edge of inlet. Some spectacular holes .
We played this fresh off of the plane with no sleep for 36 hours. It was rainy most of the round. We still enjoyed the layout and views. The staff was great in helping us get out early. Nice small pro shop. Good carts for...More
