The tour guide was informative and entertaining. The public grounds would be worth the visit on a good day. Take a picnic and enjoy the scenery. They have a garden tour I believe but we didn't have the time on the day we visited. If...More

The tour was short, but very interesting. I enjoyed it very much and don't like 1 hour tours, so it was perfect.

This castle is in wonderful condition and the grounds are beautiful We took the tour and our guide was particularly informative about the family background and evolution of the castle. Being so close so Dublin makes this an easy visit. I highly recommend it.

a train northbound is the best way to get there unless more than 4 people it may be worth getting a taxi. Malahide is a nice place to spent an hour or two some nice pubs for a coffee
