There were strong gales the previous night and a big swell running in the Harbour. Not suitable despite the sunshine. I am in a better position to judge the local weather given that my livelihood depends on it.

Sorry that you missed us. We did not operate for five days last week due to Southerly gales and heavy rainfall. These conditions make it unsafe to operate tourist trips. If the weather looks uncertain, the local tourist office can confirm that the cruises will...More

There isn't much to do in Kinsale, but the Harbour Cruise is excellent, providing a different view of the beautiful seaside town and surrounding areas.

The scenery was beautiful. We went on a sunny day and everything was beautiful. I was disappointed that the narration was a recording, but I suppose that's understandable. Having just recently been on the Don & Barry Walking Tour, the recorded tour here was a...More

Difficult and dangerous to drive a boat in a busy harbour and give a live narration at the same time. Hence the recorded commentary. If the local history of the area does not interest you, I can understand why you might find it boring.

a very good experience. The commentary is pre recorded but this does not detract from the tour which is about 1 hour. Many of the comments relate to the forts which the English built, but take this with a pinch of salt

We are sorry to hear you were put out each time. Unfortunately we usually only cancel a short time before departure and watch the weather closely coming up to departure time. The problem with updating cancelled cruises on our website is that it takes 12...More

November 26, 2017. Their web site says closed November through "first week in March." It's only a guess, but they might not pay much attention to the website until sailing resumel.

I agree with previous post. The cruise is an hour long. It stays light late that time of year so you should be able to catch a late afternoon cruise
