I really can not rate Ballycasey Craft and Design Center because we never got to go due to the fact we could not find it! Please put up some signs for us tourists! Our GPS could not locate this and directions from two locals, (they had never been there either) still did not get us there. We would have loved... More

I love this little gem located in the Shannon area. It is perfect if you need to buy a gift or just want somewhere different to browse. The florist "Angel Flowers" is undoubtedly the best and most talented florist around. Then there is the children's clothes shop "Bit of a do" I never manage to leave here without spoiling some... This tiny enclave of small shops has a nice selection of non-touristy, useful things (a nice stop before you go to nearby Shannon airport- and so much nicer than getting the usual souvenirs). We visited a bike shop, a "bit of a do" kids' clothing store (both had great selection in small spaces), and a wonderful jewelry shop, Gleeson's Goldsmiths,... More

Great area for a bit of local shopping, if you are looking for a great jewelry shop and gold Smith, bicycle shop, embroidery, cafe to name but a few. If you are on way to airport and have few minutes to spare and looking for that last gift you could do worse than popping into the cold Smith.

Go early and stay late! We arrived at Bunratty early afternoon and wished we had more time! There is so much to see and do at the folk park as well as a visit to the Castle. You can easily spend an entire day here. In addition to all the buildings and crafts on display, you can shop for all... More

Beautiful grounds with gardens, streams, flowers, caves, and historic homes. We had the castle dinner in the evening and enjoyed the traditional Irish music.
