I would really rate this at 3.5 stars, if that were available. It's worth visiting if you're in the area, and the entrance price isn't all that much. I loved seeing the huge Irish wolfhounds and the bog ponies. There was a nicely painted gypsy...More

It was very interesting walking around from house to house seeing how they lived in those days. Some of the houses had soundtracks and models of people. They also had two lovely Irish wolfhounds in a fenced area both were very friendly.

Enjoyable if you haven’t seen a historical village on your trip but very similar to a few others we have seen on our trip. So a bit of déjà vu for us.

An OK attraction. The village is well laid out and quite interesting. Not worth detouring for but if you are passing or in the area give it a try. Lots of coaches stop here so it can get quite busy but as it is nearly...More

An excellent museum of life in old Ireland with a reconstructed village. Access available into all the cottages. Possibly wheelchair friendly. . This is a favourite stopping place for coaches from Killarney doing the 'ring of Kerry' tour. However most of the tourists go into...More

This historical village replicates life in the 18th & 19th Century. It includes authentic buildings like Jeremiah Mulvihill's turf cutter's cottage, Jack O'Sullivan's forge, McGillycuddy's stables as well as farm animals, Irish Wolfhounds etc. We were able to watch a thatched roof being repaired, while...More

This experience will transport you back to a time when central heating was a turf fire and water came in a bucket from the river rather than a tap! Spend an hour imagining what it was like back then, see the Kerry Bog Ponies &...More

Kerry Bog village is located on the Ring of Fire in Glenbeigh. It is a collection of full-size cottages showing life in late 19th century Ireland. The thatched cottages are fully furnished. Buildings include a Turf Cutter’s Dwelling, an old forge, a stable dwelling, a...More
