This is a gorgeous, expansive sandy beach, backed by dunes. It's very unspoiled and not especially crowded. We were there in mid-August at the height of the school holidays. There are around 50 odd places in the car park so it would probably never be heaving....More

Stunning place. So untouched. Glorious beach with magnificent waves. Great for a refreshing swim in a suntrapped bay.

Depending on tides, this is great for kids of any age as low tide creates a river channel that is shallow but perfect for sandcastles, fishing, crab and shrimp hunting so bring your shovels and buckets along with your swim wear!

The lazy river is wonderful for children to play in and less exposed than the sea itself. You can sit on the sand a couple of feet from the lazy river and be fully aware and observing them. Wonderful family friendly clean beach.
