Ate a late lunch here in September 2018 during our drive round the Ring of Kerry. Both the food and service were excellent. Very reasonably priced with a beautiful view of the coast and nearby hills.

All links courses are challenging, but Waterville is a very satisfying one to play for the amateur golfer because it is fair. The setting is gorgeous and the course is very walkable. It was in great condition when we played. Consider hiring a caddie (two...More

Came a a group of six to play here for 2 days. Golf course was fabulous. Great layout, very good shape even though they went through a very dry spell. True links course which has a number of holes along the water. You don't want...More

My son and I played Waterville last week and really enjoyed the layout. It was our first round on a 8 course trip that included the best links courses in Ireland. We flew into Shannon and drove down for an afternoon round. The conditions were...More

Wind and drizzle accompanied our visit this well maintained 129 year old links course. But, you expect it along the coast.

Played with a group of colleagues. The course is the epitome of a traditional links. It was in fabulous condition despite the tricky summer they’ve had and is set up to be a fair test of golf for both high and low handicappers. The staff...More

The best experience from our trip to SW Ireland. Best fairways in the area having supported the drought much better than others. World-class layout, every hole was classic links, fair and not tricked up in any way. At the top of my list in Ireland...More

Not sure if you can play 9 holes but I would recommend playing the full 18, if you are worried about the walk they have plenty of buggies available
