When you arrive you pay €10 for s family . It's a lovely walk around the island , lovely flowers an plants but that doesn't really cut it with 2 ,7 year olds ! It's lovely to see but would be great if they had s playground or fairy village to entertain smallies !!

Short boat trip over to this island is well worth it. There are seals basking as you pass, and if you are lucky,as we were you can see a sea eagle and other wildlife. The Italianate gardens are stunning. Plenty to see, and a nice tea shop to finish off with.

It's only 10 mins at the very most to get across to the island. The gardens are beautiful, the guide book is... More

This is a trip worth doing and manageable for everyone of all ages. A short boat trip (run by a really friendly team) The Island itself is beautiful, you can spend as long as you like on it. The range ornamental plants and trees along with the view from the island are spectacular - a very enjoyable day out

Lovely way to spend an afternoon. Beautiful gardens and stunning views. Lovely little cafe too. The Blue Pool Ferry guys really look after you and make sure you get to see the seals on the way over and way back and we were even lucky enough to see the sea eagle.

Cost for the ferry is Euro 10 for adults, Euro 5 for school aged (16 & under) children/teens. The boat ride takes about 10-15 minutes to the Island during which the captain passes his boat by rock formations with... More
