Lahinch beach is a really fun place to spend some time, either walking, running or just hanging out and watching the surfers. Regardless of the Irish weather, the beach never disappoints. Lots of reinforcement work being done to hold back the forces of nature to erode it.

Fabulous beach, great for beginner surfers, but also for a walk or run - sometimes the tide comes right up though so take care!

Even in January, this large beach front, dotted with surf schools, had quite a few visitors. Be it locals out for a jog or stroll along the sand, or the numerous participants of the surf schools braving the chilled waves, there was quite a bit of activity. Still a small amount of construction going on to ease beach access after... More

First we came to see the beach and the water level was high, but after 2,3 hours when we came back the water draw off so the beach was so long and beautiful for walks. We walked for an hour on the sand, and wathched the waves and surfers.

Lahinch is a small town on the coast of County Clare, this seaside resort is a popular location for surfing. The town itself is nice enough and I was impressed with the beach. I would recommend Lahinch to anyone visiting the west coast of Ireland. If you're into surfing or you are looking for a nice town on the seafront... More

Lahinch beach is a small picturesque cove along the west coast near the cliffs of moher and in the village of the same name about 30 minutes drive from Ennis Co Clare. When the tide is in there is the short promenade to walk, better still when the tide is out the long beach reveals itself. The Atlantic waves make... More

We were there a little out of season so the beach life was minimal. Very beautiful and different. Rocks and sand and very unique. Very tranquil and serine .

Stop in at a pub and also walk the coastline. You can feel the Atlantic and see a lot of ruins if you walk north close to the coast. There are ruins from the 1848 period here. Emotionally moving for those of Irish descent.
