First time riding with Dunfanaghy Stables, 3 of us rode 5 days in May, Railway Track, Marble Hill, and the very special Tramore beach 3 times. We had a great time. Helen had matched us well with her horses, they were well trained, did everything we asked of them, and were fit and enthusiastic. Helen was considerate of our plans... More

We turned up and the laid back atmosphere was true Ireland. Nice people, perfect horse for a beginner, and the most outstanding spectacular views for an hour on the beach. Ride out across the street and then up and down Kilahooey Strand. Fabulous.

We were visiting with friends last year and three of our kids went out along the beach. It was the first time for my two (16/13) and they were really well looked after and really did enjoy it despite some nervous energy at the start...hope to visit again soon!

You're in good hands with the trailguides, no matter how little you know about horses and riding. Instructions are clear, to the point, helpful and give even a nervous beginner a great time on the horse. The horses look well and happy, the beach is stunning and whatever the weather you'll have a unforgettable ride. Thank you so much!!!

Visited Ireland with my best friend for my 30th birthday in October. She surprised me with horseback riding in Dunfanaghy. Best possible gift for the location. Helen took us out to Killahoey beach and it was amazing! Such a sweet lady who has spent her life caring for horses. They all work very hard to maintain the stables--it's hard work... More

Just back from an absolutely stunning ride on the Tramore trail with some friends. Extremely friendly staff who made the ride nothing short of exceptional. As it's the off season and they are about to close, we were kind of expecting the stables to have a feel of an office on a Friday afternoon, but this couldn't be further from... More

What an experience. Good combination with the Arnolds Hotel. A lot of choice with the horses. Well educated horses with a good behaviour. We did 6 trials in one week. Beautiful beaches, natural scenery, spectacular views ! Thanks

We booked a beach ride in January of this year for June. When we checked into Arnold's we were given a sheet showing our ride time. Since we were bicycling thru Ireland, our entire trip was designed to get us to this beach ride on this day. When we showed up for the ride we were told there was no... More

I was in Dunfanaghy Friday last with my 21 year old Daughter as It was her Birthday and I rang the Stables landline, three times, to book an hour on a Horse with her Partner. I received no reply so I rang a mobile number(Helen) and she asked if I rang the stables landline. I told her i did and... More
