I've read many of the reviews of this place and many people suggest that they have stumbled across a hidden gem. We were pretty much the opposite. As soon as we discovered this place was real we added it to our "must see" list. If...More

Stopped here for lunch with my family after reading the menu outside which sounded lovely. Unfortunately, it turned out to be not at all allergy friendly. It's so frustrating when a cafe lazily says everything contains allergens, right down to the chips! I asked if...More

A mix of tourist souvenir shop with a cafe. There's a museum on wool, but we were not allowed in because there was a big group coming in. A popular stop for bus tours.

The selection of woollen products for sale is not great with better selection available in the surrounding area. The cafe was reasonably busy and offered attractive outdoor seating!

I'm sure the views are fantastic - sadly it was raining with a heavy mist. We had a warm welcome from the staff and they served very good coffee. Typical tourist gift shop but with plenty of local items - I particularly liked their range...More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that you found us very expensive as we try and keep our prices keen. Many people comment on our good value and we sell quite a number of items for less than our suppliers do in there own...More
