Foxton locks is a good place to see others work canal boats while you sit in the sun. There is the boilerhouse museum to visit and either the Foxton inn or bridge 61 to sample refreshments.

We visited with freinds found the locks very intresting.we had a really relaxing time walking along the canals in the sunshine and ended our trip with a bite to eat and a pint in one of the pubs at the bottom of the locks

Plenty to look at with a series of locks on the Grand Union Canal. Narrow boats with great character are there in good quantity. Kids seemed really interested in the locks and it's all very scenic. Plenty of places around to eat and drink. Well...More

there is a car park though the spaces are for cars not motor homes at the bottom car park, use the one at the top as there is more space and no marked spaces as such.
