Long journey trip to walk and it was not easy. We were sweaty and so tired during the way to the cave. We didnt plan to have this kind of walk. I thought that the boat will take up to the cave... 😱😱😱

The obvious highlight of the national park is the Than Phraya Nakhon in the Phraya Nakhon cave, but the rest although is pretty is quite standard. You would have to get to this national park by car or motorbike to explore it on your own. I wouldn't recommend going to Sam Phraya Beach for any swimming or sunbathing as we... More

once againfound amazing how everything is organized; arrived at the park, as it us a national park you have to pay an entrance fee, but so strange they make it at 200 thb for foreigner while local pays 40 thb. You have options by ferry boat or by walk which is pretty stiff but we choosed this way; we could... More

I am so proud of the fact that I could do a trek. Honestly, I am not really a fit person. But, trust me, finishing the trek gave a different high altogether. There is another way to reach the beach from where the caves were about 500 mtrs. The sea conditions weren't as good as other days, so we had... More

Unfortunately, the boardwalk over the marsh was closed when I visited. That was disappointing as I've heard it is one of the best views of the mountains as well as good for birdwatching and other wildlife viewing. However, I was so impressed with the hike to the cave that it made up for my disappointment. I took the boat as... More

You do not need to visit the Park Headquarters to get permits as a day permit for the all the locations can be purchased at any of the locations. The park is based around the 300 peak mountain (Sam Roi Yot), and offers beaches, mangrove, marsh, boardwalks, temples, canal trips, temples....so much. You may plan for a day or two... More

We drove from Bangkok KSRN. The mountains are beautiful. We had lunch at a beachside restaurant. The beach was nice. The food was good.

Stunning scenery and many birds to see. Best time to come at early morning or late afternoon (or both). You can walk around on a path above the water with small pavilions, about one hour. This place is unique in landscape and bird varieties. Absolutely recommended for nature lovers.

Located within the premises of the Sam Roi Yot National Park, this location needs you to take a boat from the mainland to reach. A misleading board says 500m to the cave, but this requires a good 1 hour of climbing one way up. The stunning eco-system inside the cave at the top, with the sunlight streaming directly onto the... An hours drive south from Hua Hin is the mountain with 300 (sam roi) peaks which is a national park. Its a good day out but it does involve a lot of walking, well hiking really i guess. There are several caves, the most impressive being Praya Nakhon Cave. I would suggest that you pay 200baht to one of the... More
