The Tomba dei Giganti's name might be a slight exaggeration. What is giant about it is the hike up the hill, which is quite scenic and rather vertical. Wear comfortable footwear, bring water during hot summer days, and wear a hat. We are in reasonably good shape but didn't expect the climb to be such a challenge, especially in 30C heat. The roads are not particularly good to get there, so we had to park about 1.5km away on the road. There is a clearing where you can leave your car about halfway up, but the steep unpaved road didn't allow our little Corsa to get up to it. With a 4x4, you'd have no trouble. The views on the way up are spectacular. The path is well marked with distances every couple hundred metres. At the top, the views from the rocks around the back of the tomb are far more spectacular than the tomb itself. Remaining is only a tiny crawlspace into the small chamber and traces of a larger stucture. Climb up around the tomb to take in the wonderful panorama through the large 'window' in a rock. Far more photo opportunities from up here.

A bit of a steep climb but well worth it. Many different tombs with different styles and markings. Outstanding view over the countryside.
