This area is extremely beautiful. If you enjoy the ocean and beach you will love this quaint park and beach area. Very close by is Birch Bay which offers up restaurants, pubs, souvenir shops and also ice cream shops. Love this area. Enjoy your stay

Love his park and the beach. Just a 20-25 minute drive from Bellingham. Bring that lawn chair, grab that hamper of chicken & potato salad and plan on a restful respite at the beach. Camp under beautiful trees in the park.

Great, old state park. Diverse with more than a mile of easily accessible beach and uplands forest. About 150 camping spots, a few with filtered water views. Nice quiet camping, if a little pricey (thanks Washington state). One short but fun trail.

Great spot for a walk and sunset view, even in February! It was a bit windy and cold while we were there, but there were a lot of people out. Best when the tide is out!

I had seen the exit sign on the freeway all these years and never thought of coming over to check it out . Last week we made a quick visit just before sunset and I was stunned with the views alone ! We definitely have...More

On a good day, you can see all the way to Mt. Baker! Lovely park and really nice views. Beach strolls as well as park walks/hikes possible. Very pleasant the beginning of October and not crowded on weekday.

Very pretty and a nice place to walk on on a sunny day. Sunsets are amazing! Can be very chilly windy and wet at times so it is nice to have a place with a fireplace.

I like going here for ocean camping, always clean and a lot of decent sites. Rates are decent and its quiet at night.

I'm already from the west coast so I'm accustomed to the grey skiesand rocky beaches, but this beach really took it to a new level. My first impression was that I was walking on shells, which I was. There are literally clam shells covering the...More

Is there a place to park a cargo trailer that we use to transport our camping gear (4x6)? We already plan to have two vehicles at the campsite so we need another area such as parking by the boat launch or something else for the trailer. Paid parking is fine. Thanks

I believe that the basic site has power and the economy site does not. I'd check with the park or call them to confirm.
