Well worth the journey to Vai. Nice beach, palm trees, clear water and car park close to the beach (€2.50 for the day). One of the better beaches in Lasithi.

We had to visit this beach just because of the chocolate advert shown on British TV in the 1970s. It is a lovely setting, backed by palm trees - really surreal!

Best way to spend one day with nice and colorful water. Like tip: try to go at first hour from the morning to catch 1-2 hours without people. After this the buses start to arrive and the beach is not so quiet, in specially if...More

I'm staying at Agios Nikolaos and was wondering how far Vai beach is away from the resort? Are the buses that run?
