Stopped for an early lunch. The Borsche was delicious. Also sampled their cheeses. A great selection. One unique aspect was their aged cheddar. They have each year dated from regular 1 year old cheddar to 14 year old. Lovely farming ambiance with gifts for foodies.

On my way from Kelowna to Salmon Arm I stopped in to check out the cheese options to make a choice on what to purchase and take home later in the week. There were lots of samples to help you choose. Love the fact you can buy in several sizes, at what I would call reasonable prices. They have other... More

Family brought us here when we were visiting Armstrong. They knew I'd been tasting wine in the Okanagan and that I love good cheese. I was not disappointed. I loved the in-store samples, and the ability to buy different sizes of cheese - little packages for cheeseboards, larger packages for family favourites and some of the cheeses are even available... This is simply a great place to try all kinds of cheeses. Samples abound, some great bargains in the BOGO bin, and incredible flavours. If you love cheese, you must come here. The Globe and Mail reviewed the Village Cheese and their award-winning products; it's a gem in the North Okanagan for tourists and locals alike.

Stopped in Armstrong for lunch and found The Village Cheese Company offered a reasonably-priced soup and wrap special. The autumn carrot soup was delicious, the BLT wrap was fresh and crispy, all served with a side of cheese curds. Great variety of flavored cheeses to taste and purchase, along with condiments, honey, syrup, jams, snacks and other gifts. Unfortunately, no... More

Good simple food from cafe. Selection of cheeses, gourmet and gift items in the shop. The cheese produced in house is mostly all cheddars with different natural flavours added. Not my favourite type of thing but others are happy with it. We bought the 11 year old cheddar. Sharp and very good.

Stopped into this location to check out their cheese selection and was not disappointed. They have a fantastic variety from which to choose. Their staff were very friendly and there were several dislays of cheese to sample. This location has lots of parking and is conveniently located in Armstrong.

This is a great place to buy your cheese, lots of different varieties, all very good. We often buy the untidy end cuts and get it two for one so it is worth it. The lunch however is very average, because there does not seem to be enough staff the ladies are making the lunch, serving and cleaning up, so... More
