Visited on a couple Ld but sunny Sunday afternoon. As usual,NT staff both friendly and helpful. Fascinating place with a history that goes way back. Enjoyed a very informative talk by a guide on the Croft family history. Lovely parkland to enjoy if weather permits.

Went in the run up to christmas and the house looked lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly and the house is full of lovely historic objects. Went for a walk round the grounds and saw some wonderful old trees.

The woodland play area is the highlight of this property if you have children in tow. Unfortunately the 'usual' NT problems of inadequate toilet facilities, and muddy car parks exist here.
