My husband and I took the tour 21 September 2018 and saw numerous humpbacks along with seals. We were beyond happy with the experience. Had lunch before hand in the restaurant which was delicious. Not the quickest service but the food was fantastic and very...More

We are so glad we did the whale watching with those guys in September. Laurie (I surely write it wrong) gave us lot of info on the whales, and even if the second time was really foggy and we could barely see in front of...More

We so enjoyed our whale watch with Captain Craig, Laurie and Joel(?). We learned so much about the whale habitat and just had a great trip on an absolutely perfect day - sunny, warm and as calm as it could possibly be! We saw one...More

First, the cafe is excellent. Great food, lovely service. Try the coconut cream pie. Working person's atmosphere. And the captain and crew of the boat were equally as pleasant. And helpful. Getting around isn't easy for me and he was there with a strong helping...More

We went and saw plenty of whales. The staff took us to different areas where they expected to see whales and certainly the second area had plenty, although we did see some quite early in the tour. We had lunch in their cafe which was...More

We've been on a number of whale watch trips but this was by far the most successful. We spotted our first whales (mother and calf) about 15 minutes into our three and a half hour cruise and it didn't stop. Sometimes there were whales on...More

Within the first 15-20 minutes the crew spotted a couple of humpback whales! They were so close they went under the boat and I had visions of Jaws, although they seem curious and playful, not at all aggressive. The captain said they were "lazy" and...More

We drove in our car, so we didn't inquire about a shuttle. The whale watch departs from the Ferry Dock. This was a half hour ride from the downtown area where the restaurants are located.

We probably traveled for 45 min to an hour before we began to see whales. You might see them sooner if you take a whale watching trip out of Brier Island but you also have to drive further - two ferry rides ($7 each, I... More
