At the Territory Wildlife Park you can see the Top End of Northern Australia in 4 hours rather than 4 days! The Park is a 45 minute drive south of Darwin city. It occupies 625 hectares of native bush adjacent to the Berry Springs Nature Park.

The Wildlife Park showcases animals and plants of the Top End in both natural settings and exhibits for ease of viewing, as well as the diversity of natural habitats of the Top End.

The Park is spread out around a 4km loop road with free shuttle trains and natural walking paths linking the attractions. The Main Station Cafe, Nocturnal House and Aquarium are airconditioned.

My husband and I visited as part of a tour with Ethical Adventures and we really enjoyed it - a great way to get a quick overview of NT's flora, fauna and the seasons / weather unique to this part of our wonderful country. Loved the Monsoon walk and took the opportunity to do the VIP nocturnal visit, where we... More

Thank you for an amazing experience! Me and my partner came and visited in may 2017 while we were in Darwin. My partner has worked in the wildlife and nature Park industry for years and is very hard to find a place he enjoys. He absolutely loved it and is telling everyone about it. Very well presented and the staff... More

One of the best activities in the Datwin area for both young and old. Easily able to spend the day here with the activities and attractions. Highlights for us were the bird show at the Flight Deck (11am), the walk through aviary and the fish feeding at the sand bar. Also has the bonus if you're a Territorians of giving... More

This park is a credit to all involved from the really informative guides to the amazing animal encounters and beautiful surrounds. It manages to straddle the fine line between incredible natural habitats and immaculate walkways and rubbish free areas. The bus/train provided to take you from one exhibit to the other is a godsend. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable... More

The park itself is a great size and shows a great variety of wildlife in our region. It is widespread however the park does provide a bus that circulates the park every 30 mins so you can hop on - hop off, which is fantastic. A couple of things that baffled us: the dingos. Staff explained that pure bred dingos... More

Found the wildlife park to be an average visit and wouldn't recommend making it the first place on your to do list in darwin. The staff were helpful and they do offer a train to get around the park if you can manage to time it. The park is quite large and it is a long walk which made it... More

Hi Shanae H, thanks for your review, we appreciate your feedback. We spent a few hours wandering around the park- couldn't find some exhibits like the dingoes and the stingray sand bar wasn't as expected. The park map isn't inspiring and gives little info on what is actually at certain points-would be better redesigned to give guests a suggested itinerary or two to follow and best ways to access them. The... More

Visited the Darwin Wildlife Park as part of a cruise ship excursion and my only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. There were animals, reptiles and insects we hadn't seen anywhere else and most were staged in their natural habitat. Love being able to walk through the paths and catch the buses when we wanted. The best part was... More

Wonderful, extremely exiting for wild life lovers and the non-outdoors type. Jump on and off the train at anytime to see the displays and wonder through savannah, tropical forests and wetlands with the chance to see animals up close and personal - including crocodiles and snakes.
