Picked up at Santa Marta Airport and enjoyed a 2.5 hour drive to El Dorado. Everyone was so nice and considerate. Language is not a problem. Many speak excellent English!

There are so many Nice hikes to do and the air is so clean and refreshing after been in the city or jungle, the mountains give you the energy you need ;-)

The Sierra Nevada mountains around Minca offer some very decent hiking trails and some sights, such as coffee plantations and beautiful views. Trails can be pretty steep and the heat can be oppressive, so bring plenty of water.
