There is nothing to dislike about Wats. They are places of worship and meditation. Some are more ornate than others. This one is very pretty and the monastery sits on about 160 acres looking over the countryside with 9 different points of prayer.

Peaceful, beautiful place. You can walk to the first level up a road or stairs from the river. After that it's a steep climb so you'll need transport but well worth it.
