Take your time, learn the history of the present monarchy. You will understand why Thai people loved Rama IX that passed away in 2016. It's a good history lesson!

This is quite an amazing building, which houses a remarkable set of objects. A broad range of topics are covered by the exhibits and it gives a great deal to think about. Excellent interactive activity towards the exit. Really interesting.

The 4 and 6 year old did find this quite boring. A lot of great information written about transforming the opium trade of Thailand. Takes a while if you want to read everything.

The Hall provides a fascinating history about the work and life of the King and his family and the development they have overseen particularly around this area of Thailand. Very modern styling, using video, photos and artefacts and some interactive facilities
