Lovely and very quiet island, few tourists compared to other islands

I enjoyed spending two days on Koh Bulon Leh. There's actually nothing to do but to go to one of the beaches (Ao Panka Yai, Ao Panka Noi, main beach) and enjoy the scenic view. I... read more

I enjoyed spending two days on Koh Bulon Leh. There's actually nothing to do but to go to one of the beaches (Ao Panka Yai, Ao Panka Noi, main beach) and enjoy the scenic view. I spent most of my time on the main beach in front of the Pansand Resort where the sand is white and soft and where... More

My 2 daughters and I stayed at the Pansand Hotel for 3 nights. Our accommodation was a few steps from the beautiful white sand beach, with all sorts of birds (including hornbills) in the trees around us. The hotel and staff were very friendly and we found the food not only excellent (barracuda in a tamarind sauce was my favourite)... More

So there are a few little niggles. I was camping at the front of the school on the beach, and a guy connected to the school wanted 50 baht. It's always free to camp on any beach in Thailand because the king owns it. Anyway, I paid without arguing because it's just 50 baht. I think the idea behind the... More

We took a speed boat from Ko Lipe to find a more relaxing and out there island. Ko Bulon delivered. We stayed at Bulon Resort. Bit expensive - but great staff and location. Food in resort was ok. The island had one of the finest stretches of sandy beach we have found in the andaman. Very authentic island, local fishing... More

Perfect for travelers that want to escape from everything and everyone! We stayed at Marina Bungalows. The bungalow was very nice, spacious with a big bathroom and a front balcony with beautiful luscious garden view. There were even lizards, some of them quite big - but harmless-walking around the garden!!! Vey quiet place, where you can rest your mind, enjoy... More

Many people that have been travelling in Thailand for decades don’t like talking about Bulon in order to keep it a secret. It somehow worked as the island has escaped the crazy development of nearby Ko Lipe. The entire island resembles a botanical garden and there are a number of lovely trails. The village is charming and there are enough... More

This island is a pure paradise. We stayed in the marina bungalows which are close to the beach and to bulone resort. This island is perfect for relaxing on breathtaking beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much and the accomandation was very nice too.

We spend three months every year on Bulon, and have done for the past seven years. We have visited most of the Andaman Islands and feel that this is the best. Very good accommodation, beautiful beach, excellent fresh food, very reasonably priced. Very welcoming smiley people. If you want discos, night life and fast food - no for you.

Ko Bulon Le is a simple Thai island that's got a beautiful beach, a handful of places to stay and simple restaurants to eat in. For those that want an island without too much development and a place to get away from it all, this is perfection...

This island got the right mix of local live and tourism. Nice beach, decent corral and there is actually something to explore on the island itself with accommodation options ranging from budget to good value for money
